1. Registering Students

  1. To register a student means to open his or her account for the first time. To do this, log in to your www.CKidsHS.com account.
  2. Click “Set Up” on the left side of the page.
  3. Clickon “Step 7: Register Student.”
  4. Select all the children you would like to register.
  5. At the top of the page you will see how many credits you have available, i.e. how many children you have already paid for.
  6. If you would like to register more children than you have paid for, you will be asked for credit card information. Otherwise, just press “Complete Order.”

 

2. Uploading Photos Troubleshoot

  1. Please use Mozilla Firefox version 3.0 or higher.
  2. Are your photos larger than 2G? (If so, please resize your pictures using this link: http://www.picresize.com/batch.php)
  3. Please check that your Flash player is properly installed on your Firefox browser by clicking “Check Now” on the following link (while in Firefox): http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html>
  4. You can copy and paste the results in an email to help@chabadchildren.com and we will try to assist you.

 

3. Print ID Cards Locally

  1. Log in to your www.CKidsHS.com account.
  2. Click “Set Up” on the left side of the page.
  3. Click “Step 9: Create Student ID Cards.”
  4. Select the class and children you would like to print cards for.
  5. Click “Print Locally” at the bottom of the page.

 

4. Order ID Cards from HQ

  1. Log in to your www.CKidsHS.com account.
  2. Click “Set Up” on the left side of the page.
  3. Click “Step 1: Set Up School Details and Logo.”
  4. Click “ID Card Preview” and check to see that you are satisfied with what appears.
  5. Update your mailing address if necessary. Your cards will be mailed to this address.
  6. Click “Save.”
  7. Click “Setup” on the top left corner of the webpage.
  8. Click “Step 9: Create Student ID Cards.”
  9. Select the class and children you would like to print cards for.
  10. Confirm that each child’s card includes its photo by reviewing the “Pictures” column.
  11. If a card is missing a photo:
    1. Click “Set Up” on the left of side of the page.
    2. Click “Step 8: Upload Pictures of Students.”
    3. Upload photo.
    4. Click “Save.”
  12. Click “Order from HQ” at the bottom of the page.

 

5. Print Achievement Cards

  1. Log in to your www.CKidsHS.com account
  2. Click “Point Cards” on the left side of the page.
  3. Select the campaign and then the specific task you would like to print cards for.
  4. Check that the amount of points per card is correct.
  5. Select how many sheets of this card you would like to print.
  6. Click “Print All.”

    NOTE: If you would like to print multiple pages of cards of the same achievement, enter the number of pages to print when you reach Step 4 of the tutorial above. If you adjust the number of pages in the Print Dialog or make copies in a photocopy machine, the cards will have the same barcode and will not work.

 

6. Delete a Teacher

  1. Log in to your www.CKidsHS.com account.
  2. Click “Users” on the left side of the page.
  3. Click “View All Teachers.”
  4. Select the teacher you want to delete.
  5. Switch him or her from “Activated” to “Deactivated.”

 

7. Change Students’ Info

  1. Log in to your www.CKidsHS.com account.
  2. Click “Users” on the left side of the page.
  3. Click “View All Students.”
  4. Select the child you whose information you’d like to change.
  5. Change the necessary info.
  6. Click “Save.”

 

8. Deactivate a Student

  1. Log in to your www.CKidsHS.com account.
  2. Click “Users” on the left side of the page.
  3. Click “View All Students.”
  4. Select the child whose account you would like to deactivate.
  5. Next to “User Status,” click the “Deactivated” box.
  6. Click “Save.”

 

9. Reset All Points
To delete all students’ previous points:

  1. Log in to your www.CKidsHS.com account.
  2. Go to “Settings.”
  3. Under “Other Tools” at the bottom, click “Reset Points.”
  4. If you would like to set a retroactive date for reset, enter it in the appropriate field
  5. Click “On.”
  6. Click “Reset Store Points.”
  7. All the children's points will be reset to zero.

    CAUTION: This action cannot be undone. DO NOT do this if you are trying to reset only one student’s points (see #10 below).

 

10. Edit One Child’s Points

  1. Log in to your www.CKidsHS.com account.
  2. Click “Users” on the left side of the page.
  3. Click “View Registered Students.”
  4. Select the child whose account you would like to edit.
  5. Click “Transaction Manager” (under the child’s photo).
  6. Click “Add Transaction” on the top left of the screen.
  7. Click “Manual Change.”
  8. Edit points as necessary and click “Process Change.”

 

11. How to Access a Child's Account

  1. Log in to www.ckidskiosk.com.
  2. Scan the child's ID card or type in the ID number under the bar code.
  3. Press Enter (on the computer keyboard).
  4. This will log in to the child's personal account. From there, he or she can scan achievement cards, buy prizes and view all previous transactions.

 

12. Total Points vs. Store Points

Total Points includes all points a child has ever received during his or her time enrolled in Tzivos Hashem.

Store Points reflects the amount of points the child is able to spend in the store. When a child buys a prize, the cost of the prize will be subtracted from his Store Points.
